Hi all,
I'm looking into flexible packaging and hot sealing of laminates in particular. I'll use the example of a paper-aluminum-PE laminate.
I'm aware that there are multiple ways that these seals can fail when you try to separate them. I've added an example where it fails at the weld, but the layers can also detach or the whole laminate can tear.
I'm looking for some in-depth information, hopefully with illustrations on failure types.
I've been googling avidly of course, but haven't come across the right info. I'm not even sure whether hot sealing and laminates are the correct keywords.
Thanks in advance,
Max
