I am simulating an Abaqus problem.
I would like to obtain the heat left by an element but I don't know if the information given by Heat Flux (J / m2 / s) is the correct selection.
If I want know the total, I would have to multiply by the area of the element?
It is a simple problem, there is only deformation and there are no contacts with other solids.

There are multiple output variables related to heat flux in Abaqus. In addition to regular HFL, you could use RFL (reaction flux), HFLA (heat flux multiplied by the area) and several more. Check their meanings in the documentation.
