Hand strength grip & twisting data 1

Hello
I need to know max allowable twisting force (ft/lbs?) using a 4-5" lever for a typical adult male and adult female.

Is there a reference chart out there I could use?

Search on "MIL-HDBK-1472". It's no longer the sole authority, but the same search will find other stuff, too.
