Our plant operations is requesting Engineering to lead the effort in evaluating whether our existing H2S ambient monitoring and alarm system in our facilities is adequate and in compliance to regulations. The company operates gas storage facilities and compressor stations in the Los Angeles, California basin. In this regard, I would like to solicit from the forum for advice or hints on ways to best proceed with the exercise. We are also looking for consultation services in the area to be provided either by a chemical hygeneist or environmental expert and will appreciate if anyone can direct us to people providing such expertise.
