Guy wire terminations?

I am looking for some typical procedures and details used to tension and terminate guy wires used to support tall tower type structures (antennas etc). I assume all cables at a level are all tensioned at once to avoid unduly loading the structure. How is the actual tension measured? How are they pulled into position? What do the terminations look like? Thanks for any insight.

You have the TIA 222-G standard, right? If not, then that's a good place to start. Chapter 7 is dedicated to guy assemblies. It's got basic information about end attachments, dampters and such. Then Annex K (don't know why they don't call it an appendix) has information about tension measuring methods.

I honestly don't know too much about the construction of these types of towers. I only worked on the analysis of them. Therefore, I can't help you much further than pointing you towards that reference.
