I am trying to compare Grey CI valve material to ASTM A216. Which is better?

Better for what under what conditions holding what fluid for what length of time at what temperature under what pressure? 8<)

This would be for fire water piping related applications. Mostly carrying raw water and with sizes from 50NB to 300NB max.
