Good Tutorial for new user

ok. I'm a beginner in using neinastran fea software. For my senior design project we have to analyze our project using nastran. But i heard alot of people said its easier to draw our design project (basically a tube with screw threads and holes) using Pro E . I'm limited using Solidworks, Pro-E, and NeiNastran, and AutoCAD software that we have at our university. So my question is there a good online tutorial webstie for beginners using NEINastran or Pro E? or Is there anyway can i import an AutoCAD (im very AutoCAD savy) drawing into NEiNastran?

Export the AutoCad geometry as a .dxf file; import the geometry file into FEMPA/NENastran.

You can also import a stepfile from Pro/E to FEMAP if that is a better alternative.

STEP214 and STEP203 work pretty well from SolidWorks. STEP or Trimmed Surface IGES from AutoCAD for a solid model (.dxf just does lines, so if your model requires bricks, you would have to build them by hand). You can use .dxf from AutoCAD for planar models.

They have some user tutorials...can't say I recall if they have one for importing geometry, but the other tutorials are pretty beneficial.

For NE/Nastran, the user interface is primarily FEMAP. There is plenty of information out there on FEMAP. Search for it through any of the major internet search engines.
