Global shaping by curve when near-sharp angle is involved

Hello everyone!
I found that global shaping by curve does not produce the exact shape when control curve has small radius or sharp corner. You can see what I mean on the picture and in the included prt file.
So the question is - is this an absolute design limitation of a tool, or is it possible to 'bend' the shape sharply?

I suspect that there will never be sharp corners in the resulting shape and that it's by design. The term 'Shaping' implies that the result will have smooth transitions.

I suspect so too. Meanwhile I have found a curious workaround. I didn't test it thoroughly yet, but at least in some cases we can mend the bent section with the Replace Face tool - see the model.

Now another question - is it possible to unbend this curved shape into a straight one using Global Shaping? I could not get it work, perhaps it is pushing this tool one step too far. But what if you know something I don't?

If i have understood the global shaping correct, ( I only have experience in deform by surface) it's based on transformations of the Nurbs pole structures, and if I would like to have a small curvature, I guess that it would be beneficial to have dense pole structures. - small deviations between the corresponding poles.

In the supplied example the planar faces becomes Nurbs faces in the deformation.
