Is there an equivalent in NX to CATIAs 'Global Deformation', whereby multiple surfaces can be manipulated using X-form type interation, ie directly editing UV poles?

I am aware of the Global Deformation and Global Shaping cammands in NX however these seem more suited to toolmaking where springback compensation etc is required rather than industrial design type surface modifications.

Any Recommendations?

Thanks.

Did you try NX command X-Form and I-Form (Edit/Surface/X form or I form)?
X-form is for editing one or multiple surface.
I-form is for editing edges.

Regards.

I use X-form regularly but havnt had much luck getting it to edit multpile bodies. We will typically get styling surfaces through from Alias which require modification to show engineering feasability, this might be offsettting regions to improve package clearance or increasing radii etc. I genarally use History free mode and modify with X-form, Snip surface, enlarge, match edge etc in a direct modelling approach similar to Alias or Icem surf, however the ability to quickly deform a whole set of surfaces while maintaining some degree of continuity would be a huge advantage.
