I am looking for some manufacturers of electrical generators in the 50kW to 100kW range - just the generator, not the prime mover. The only one that I have found is Marathon Electric, but there must be others. It doesn't matter what type at this point (induction, synchronous, voltage output, speed ect.) There seems to be so much information on the applications for these (diesel generators, power backup generators, wind power...) that the companies who build them are buried in information so I'm hoping to get some info from the people who use them.

Others in the USA: Kato, New Age. for alternators

Best thing is to ask engine-generator set manufactures themselves like Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Kohler, Cummins

I'm Not sure which suppliers are in the USA but for alternators try: Newage, Mecc-Alte, Marathon, SEG, Merreli, Leroy somer, Stamford(newage). I would recommend Newage, they are owened by Cummins.
