Anyone out there have experience with the above card and what optimum settings are for it, both in Inventor and in "Display Properties" for Win2k

Just got the card and am having some issues with it.

I'm about 3 1/2 weeks into using Inventor after 4 years on Solidworks.

TIA

The GeForce is not the best CAD card. You will see slow downs with multiple OpenGL windows open. If you have highly complex parts or large assemblies you will be much happier with a Quadro card.

For now just make sure you have the latets drivers, and don't run at true color.

There is a IV graphical benchmark. Might try download it to test your settings.

I know that the Quadro is the ideal line...it was not my choice, unfortunately...it's just better than what was in it when I started this job. We are waiting a little for some of the projects to come to fruition then I'll be upgrading boxes.

I have the recommended drivers according to Autodesk...4109
am running in 16 bit color and have it set to full optimization...I am thinking of trying to do the softquadro hack tomorrow or next week...is it worth it and how difficult is it to do.
