That would work too, but I don't like it. I'll often try to model things as they'll be built (though this isn't always best for CATIA). How would I machine a gear? I'd turn a disk, diameter equal to my design tooth diameter, then I'd cut out the teeth. So that's what I'll do in CATIA. Lee http://www.lmco.com Upvote 0 Downvote
