Hi,

I have been asked to "Model a helical worm 'crown gear' for a single start worm thread placed 'radially' and prepare AUTOCAD drawing". I am trying to model a hellical crown gear and 'somehow' fit a worm gear placed radially on it.

What do I actually have to make and how to make it?

Any leads would be appreciated.

Crown gears are face gears; they don't have a 'radial' mesh.

If it's a regular worm gear then you need to specify the diameter and the ratio of the worm wheel to the worm gear.
