Generally the hot parts of the engine would be exchanged for a refurbished set. Other than damaged / broken parts which would need to be rpelaced, the rest of the machine would be normally be cleaned, inspected, overhauled, calibrated, etc as required but not replaced. Auxiliary motors would have their bearings replaced I guess, and consumables such as filters and breathers would be replaced annually or on demand.
