IT IS SIMPLY BEING TALKED ABOUT having someone come in and do a training class. We design and manufacture hose and hose assemblies and we typically haven’t seen a lot of GD&T. I know symbols but not a lot about application
Who would you guys recommend do training in a hose application
Define on-site. You can purchase a set of DVD's, run them in your conference room and you are doing on-site training. If you are talking about having a person come spend time at your location, I would say that's much more expensive.
I used Advanced Dimensional Management, LLC in the past. The owner is a member of the ASME Y14.5 sub-committee and has many supplemental books to compliment the standard. We were able to customize a training plan that was effective and fit within our schedule.
Swertel has hit on a good point with his customization point. Using someone willing/able to tailor there material to your needs will be beneficial.
Also, I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the 'solid week of training' type approach. If practical I think a more spread out course with time to practice & implement in between will be more effective.
