Garage Heating

I am debating a radiant heater or unit heater for my garage. The cost of the radiant heater is a few hunder dollars more otheriwise install costs are similar. What else needs to be considered (i.e. maintenance, operting costs ect)? Has anyone done a real world comparison or has a an opinion which is the better choice?

How big is your garage and what is the ceiling height?

The garage is a standard 2 car garage with a 12 foot ceiling.
