Galvanic Anodes For Sumersible Pump

Good afternoon gentlemen, recently here in our plant was carried out maintenance works of some vertical submerged pumps VTP type, those equipment run with Effluent Water and was manufactured by Ingersoll-Dressser, the bowls and the column pipe are carbon steel, It shows moderate External Corrosion due cloride contents in the water (Almost 600 ppm). After this problem appear we have thought to install Galvanic Anodes in order to detain the corrosion process, now we need to know if some of you have experience or technical information about this problem that can share with us.
I need to know if DNV standar for seawater cathodic protection applies or I can use another one, Which type of anode it´s more adecuate to use due the VTP pump structure.... Exist several equations to estimate resistance in this types of anodes, what´s the best for this aplication and for estimate the current density?

You can spend a lot of time calculating things, or you can blast clean the OD's, coat with a good epoxy, and use some Mg anodes.
