Has GA(W)-1 2D data been published and is it available.
I am looking Cl, Cd and Cm vs alpha at 0, 10, 20 and 40 degrees Fowler flap angle all at RE's 2, 4, 6 and 8x10*6 and std roughness. Many thanks.

I see there are several references to
Yesterday I went through the listing of reports, about 1/3 of them to get their titles. I did not find this one.

By all means get a copy of the SAE report 740365.

"A Fowler Flap System for a High-Performance
General Aviation Airfoil"

by Dr. Bill Wentz et al Wichita State U.

It is based on the GA(W)1 and really gets into
the relationship between the wing trailing edge
and flap leading edge.

Found two more:

AR 76-2 NASA Grant NSG 1165 for Langley

Wind Tunnel Tests of the GA(W)-2 Airfoil
with 20% Aileron, 25% slotted Flap, 30%
Fowler Flap and 10% slot-Lip Spoiler.

AR 76-1 NASA Grant NSG 1165 for Langley

Force and Pressure Tests of the GA(W)-1
Airfoil with a 20% Aileron and Pressure
Tests with a 30% Fowler Flap.

Both also by Dr. Bill Wentz et al Wichita State U.
