I've used a couple different designs, but it depends on what you are doing and what you have.

You've been around here long eneough to know that you really need to say what it's for, what is your role in this, (designer, mfr, buyer?), why you need to know etc

And what do you mean by "geometry" Geometry of which bit?

Air as the main process pressure fluid or liquid? I.e. which part comes out of the jet.

I'm pretty sure when we've looked at this before, it is all basically trail and error / measurement and vendors carefully guard their designs and "geometry".

Why don't you buy one?

I have tried to avoid a general discussion as my issue concerns a particular question. I would not like to start a discussion like is this device applicable for my installation, its design, efficiency, reliability etc.
The only thing I was intended to find out - Is here someone who is ready to share calculation of this type of device or here is not.

I have been around here long enough to know that a topic is readily able to evolve in a wrong way.

Geometry means critical dimensions like diameters of throat, diffusor, nozzle, mixing chamber etc.

If you do a search on eductors or similar on this forum you will find the same answer - it's not "designed" per se, but simply evolves. There are so moany different variables that each needs to be tweaked individually it seems to me.

It's a bit like propellor shapes - seems they are not "designed" either - they just sort of evolve and people tweak it to make it what it is.

Like I said - why don't you just buy one which meets your particular needs? Why do you need to know the geometry? Or just buy one, cut it apart and find the geometry that way?

Eductor selection and motive gas flow requirements are covered in the 6th edn of Perry; for reasons unknown, they've stripped out a lot of this material in the 7th edn.
