I'm trying to source parts for the fuel system of the vehicle we're building, and I'm having some trouble finding a source for the fuel filler neck/gas cap/door assembly. I found the goodyear fuel fill hose, which we could run between the gas cap and the fuel tank, but other than just buying a replacement part from one of the dealers, is there a way to get one of the assemblies from the manufacturer? Who even makes them? Specifically, I'm looking for the door (with release mechanism), the filler neck to slide the fill hose onto, and the unleaded-fuel-only-filler-flap-thing. Any ideas, or should I just order something from a dealer?

For such a low volume the makers would most likely direct you to a dealer anyway.
One option may be to have a look in some of the hot rod magazines.
There are often ads for these types of after market accessories.

Cheers , Pete.

Fuel Safe is a manufacturer of racing fuel systems/parts that may have something. I'm sure there are others as well.
