FSAE Tube-Frame FEA: Tube Segment Disconnects and Rejoins Elsewhere

Hi 3D CAD,

Problem: When I mesh my tube-frame chassis model (part file), one end of a particular tube segment dismembers and re-connects at another point on the chassis. It appears to reconnect to a sketch-point. Can anyone explain why this happens and/or guide me towards the fix?

The original member (orientation) is sketched over with blue. That member post-meshing is sketched over in red.
