HELLO! Trying to learn as much as I can regarding dynamic soil (extreme expansion and contraction), low water table
and foundation design, as I'm in the process of looking for a Foundation Engineer (Combo Civil/Geo). Engineers here spec out post-tension slabs on piers (most cost effective), does anyone have any expereience with this system and issues I should be aware of???? Should I ask about any other type of foundation, ie pier & beam, caisson, .... THANKS FOR ANY HELP
