Hi:

Does anyone know of a forum on magnetic analysis software such as integrated Engineering Software (IES)? I have searched around and can't find a forum that discusses issues on using this software.

Thanks

I've been using their software (Magneto for 2D/RS & Lorentz for 3D) for 10+ years and searched for a forum too. Haven't had any luck. I have found them pretty responsive when I have questions/problems.

In the absence of a dedicated forum, I would propose this one.

Are their any particular issues you are having?

I'm not sure I completely understood your question.
FEMM is a pretty good free 2D magnetic modeling software including easy Matlab interface. They have a very active user group,
I don't think you'll get much help with other software packages there, but certainly good help with general modelling questions

Thanks for the suggestion. At the moment I don't have a question, but I'll take your suggestion for the future.

Thanks for your tip about the forum related to FEMM. I'll look at this.
