Follow nodal rotation

I'm trying to apply a concentrated force on an encastre beam. Whenever I apply the "Follow nodal rotation" option it gives me back an error. Can anyone tell me if even is possible to aply this solution in Abaqus standard ?

As a general recommendation:
whenever you have to ask a question about solving an error problem, it is more helpful if you post the error message too.

As an even more general guess - "Follow nodal rotation" has invoked the nlgeom procedure, the force you are applying is above the buckling load and therefore an unstable problem?
