FLY BRIDGE

Hi all,

Can someone point me in the right direction for information on fly bridges.

when i use the term 'FLYBRIDGE' ie; a modular steel structure which spans the bridge below.

the specific type or usage will be for heavy loads up to 300Ton.

any info or past history would be great.!!

A flybridge is part of a boat. Maybe you mean "flyover"...but not for 300 ton loads.

I'm guessing he's talking about the exoskeleton/ hyperbridge/ crawler/ whatever, used to, e.g. assemble the sections of a precast sectional box girder bridge.

... or something else entirely.

Sorry guys the term 'Fly bridge' can mean several things i forgot about that.

How about 'bridge jumper'

its totally independent structure from the current bridge it spans and can be assembled to suit etc...

does this help....?

Not really. There are too many types of bridges for us to know what you are talking about. Is the span of the bridge 10 metres or 100 metres?

You're talking about the doubler structure underneath the millipede crawler transporter, right?
Why not call the transporter owner, now that you know their name, and ask them what they call it?

Not sure the left 6 sets of wheels really help that much?? Nor the right hand ones not under the load UNLESS that is one STIFF transport...
