I am looking for specific instances where fly ash has been used in landfill soil liner systems in New York state. IF anyone has any information regarding this, it would be usefull. Thank You
Fly ash is generally composed of silt-sized particles. The expected permeability would be in the range of 10-5 cm/sec, which is roughly two orders of magnitude higher than allowed by the EPA.
That's probably why you haven't gotten any responses - no one has used fly ash for a liner in a landfill.
