Hello,

I am doing some acoustic simulations using MSC Nastran and the perturbed models consist often into some modifications in the doors and body-in-white (mainly, meshing tasks). The cavity model remained untouched. So, as result of these modifications, the SET1 of elements for the command ACMODL (Fluid-structure interaction) will be no longer available. So, how do you guys normally preserve the same Fluid-structure interaction? I am asking you this, because I just want to be sure that the fluid-structure remain the same as in the baseline.

Normally, I use MSC Nastran to output the skinout (SET number 2), in order to check what Nastran is doing -> PARAM,SKINOUT,PUNCH.

I have a second question, I have several solid elements (CTETRAs) specified in the SET1 of ACMODL command, do you think is it an error? Should be the usage of solid elements as fluid-structure interaction avoided? I am talking about CTETRAS in the seats, for example (not in the cavity model).

Thank you for your help
