Can anyone direct me to a reference (preferably online) where I can find flow tables (air and/or water) for a poppet valve design?
I can easily find tables for fluid flow through an orifice at variuos pressures, but haven't been able to find "obstructed orifice flow" tables.

The poppet throw distance at max flow is around 0.03" off the orifice seat. Orifice sizes range from 1/32" to 3/4" diameter; pressures up to 120 psig.

Idelchik,I.E. (1986) "Handbook of Hydraulic Resistance", 2nd Edition, Hemisphere Publishing Corp. has regulating and control valve resistance data in Chapter 9. For disk, conical and ball valves the range of coverage is 0.1<h/D_0<0.25 which may cover the lower end of your diameter range but not the higher end. h is distance off the seat and D_0 is inlet diameter. I don't know if this reference is accessible on the internet.
