Florida passed a new law last year requiring condos to have milestone structural inspections. Any of you guys performing these inspections? How often do the buildings require a Phase 2 inspection? What types of destructive/nondestructive/lab testing do you typically do for a Phase 2 Milestone inspection?

I am not familiar with these inspections, but it seems like a good idea given the recent performance history of such structures.

Are these inspections made during or after construction? (What is "Phase 2"?)

Who/where defines the milestones?

The milestone inspections are for existing structures. the law was passed in response to the Surfside building collapse in 2021
