Has anyone used or heard of or seen a digital level for use in determining height/elevation differences in a building similar to the standard water or hydrostatic levels? I've found digital manometers, but not sure how this will work as these measure pressure drops in a closed system?

Thanks

There is a variety of digital levels you can use, from stationary or rotating levels with targets, to a simple "spirit" level with digital readout.

A digital manometer, even an accurate and sensitive one like we use for window testing, is not designed for leveling and in my opinion would not be appropriate for such measurements.

Get a dumpy level or rotating laser beacon with accurate targets for large area elevation differentials.
