Two part question for any 'surfacing' guru out there:
1. After creating a pipe, is there a way to incorporate a flared end on the pipe without adding any length to the pipe feature? In other words, if two pipes of the same diameter need to mate, there is usually a flared end on one pipe allowing a certain insertion depth for the mating pipe. I don't want added length, because this changes the pipe feature control coordinates (bending) and lengths of straight and bent sections.

2. For manufacturing and subassembly representations, I need to create several instances of a part showing it as purchased, bent, and trimmed. The part is a hollow cylinder, and I need to show the last 1/2" bent inward, toward its axis as a FEATURE so I can turn it on and off in the Family Table. In the past, it was drawn unbent, and the bent family table instance had to be cut (revolved) then the bent profile created (revolved). Unfortunately, this is not very change-friendly...overall length changes could adversely affect the instance(s) or not even at all.

I have surfacing...can't this 'bend' be achieved with this module so it can just be turned on and off (or suppressed)?
