Hi all.
when I do the hole wiz, when I select the surface, the point is fixed and remains fixed.

Is there any way to have to point not fixed so I can move the hole around?

Thanks

Rip

The point should not be fixed unless the auto-relations are constraining it to geometry.

Select the point and use the Display/Delete Relations tool to see the constraints being applied, and delete them.

Thanks Blimey!

I've had that problem too and ended up deleting the existing relationship(s) like Blimey suggests so that the point can be moved where it's needed.
What's puzzling is; why does it FIX itself when there's no geometry near it? It just ends up being in some random location.

Is there some switch or option to stop the Point from being fixed ?

Which SW version and SP are you using?

Does the cursor change when placing the point? If so go to Tools > System Options > Display/Selection and deselect the Allow selection in HLR and shaded modes option.
