Does anyone know of a good way to prevent fish swimming into storm sewers? I have a 2' outfall into a fish bearing stream. The outfall is also in tidally influenced waters so there will be times when the outfall is fully submerged. Just a fish screen on the end would easily get clogged. Any ideas?
Thanks.

use a flap gate

Are you sure you want to do this? In Oregon, for example, it would be illegal to prevent fish from swimming upstream.

The goal is to prevent fish from swimming into the storm system.
Thanks for the flap gate idea.
