Where can we discuss fire engineering?

I have some questions on smoke generation and fire growth etc. (BS 7974 related)

Address a problem when it shows up, not when it blows up.

Thanks, it is not NFPA though, but I should be able to be helped there.

Check out Underwriter Laboratory (UL) which publishes pamphlets on flammability, fire spread and smoke developed of constructed assemblies such as walls used in construction. NFPA handbook would also have more information on subject.
