finding the magnetic flux in 3D

Hello, I have a block magnet with a magnetization forming an angle with the normal direction.

I would like to have a first idea of how the magnetic fluxes are distributed in the three directions x-y-z.

Is there any way to find it? I dont want to use FEM tools, i could like to solve it manually.

Where can i found informations about that?

FEA tools are the best and perhaps only way to get a close answer. You could do the same by hand in breaking down the block into smaller and smaller pieces and vector summing the parts. I started writing a program to do that about 25 years ago and then got FEA. There are a number of sites which have simple block solvers.

janas21: I agree with MJR2, the most practical way to visualize the flux lines the way you want is to use finite element methods.

I know that i have to simulate my magnet structure in 3D and get the flux. But I was wondering how this can be done, by an analytical ways, if it is possible i mean.

Can you recommend me a good book, dealing with those kinds of problems and with ferromagnetic materilas and magnets in generally?
