Hello,

I'm doing a project for school in Calculus 3. We are allowed to use any and all resources. I was wondering if anyone here knows how to find the center of mass of a region enclosed by two curves using MATlab. We need to find the center of mass of the region enclosed by y=(x-2)^2 - 10 and y=4sin(x). We also need to find the radius of gyration about the x and y axis.

Thanks for any help, it is appreciated.

I will ask why the standard center of mass equation doesn't work for you.
