Hello All,

I need one information to know please

Is there any command which is equivalent to fill surface in catia V5.
I use N-sided surface if i have a non planer closed curve. and i use patch if there is non planer hole in the surface .
But other than this if any body knows other commands please let me know. because i am not finding exactly the alternate to fill surface in catia V5

I am using Nx8

Thx

If you're running NX 8.0, have you tried using the new 'Delete Edge' function? This will allow you to delete the edges of an opening, thus closing the 'hole'.

This function can be found at...

Insert -> Trim -> Delete Edge...

Hello all.

Thanks for your answers.

@JurgenKreisel
Trim and extend works for the regular shape hole. if it irregular it wont work(please correct me if i am wrong)

@JohnRBaker .

Yes delete edge works perfectly. however i need to fill the closed 3D curve like we do in catia v5 with Fill command .
Now to achieve this i am using N-Sided surface. Please let me know which are the other comands other than through curve mesh( complicated when a curve is a single) and N-Sided surface.
I am using the UG NX8
I have attached the UG Nx part File

Thanks in advance
Thanks
