File open preview pane

Can I shut off the file open preview pane at the bottom of the File Open window or atleast keep it hidden when selecting files to open? I am running WF 4.0.
Thanks....

By default, mine is not visible. Must be some config setting.

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows.
