File New Simulation Tab

I want to remove the 'Simulation' tab from File>New dialog in NX 7.5.5 for Teamcenter integration. Deleting the contents of "nxdm_ugs_cae_templates.pax" does NOT cause the 'Simulation' tab to be removed from the File New menu. Can this be done?

I found through GTAC Support that this is hard coded. There are many existing PRs requesting this same thing dating back years.
