Hi,

I have to install the above taper locks on both the driver and driven gears respectively.

I am not familiar with the machining required to do this and i have to design the two gears to be fitted with these taper locks.

If anyone can help me i would be very grateful. The driven gear will be keyed.

I have the spec of the taper lock but it only gives a minimum hub diameter for various materials for the taper lock in question.

Cheers

Contact Fenner or your Fenner distributor.

Thanks for that.

They sent me the data sheet for all the bush sizes in the range. This might be a silly question but why are there 2 diameters given for each value of parameters 'I' and 'K' in the table attached.

Cheers

Just thought they might give a standard drill number or something.

Thanks.

PS. It would be even scarier if i didn't bother asking.

I and K are holes with tolerances. Fenner does not care how you create them.

" give a standard drill number "

note the holes are flat bottomed for screws/bolts to seat against during installation/removal
