Femap coordinate system along lofted profile

I'm working on a lofted duct that cannot be aligned on a typical or polar coordinate system for material property orientation definition. Anyone have a good resource or suggestion regarding the best way to define a CS in Femap? Attached is an image of something similar to the application where the cross section varies along a curve path.
