Hello All,
I am currently working on a project that requires me to disable the 6th axis of a fanuc r-j controller. I have done this before on the R-H controller by setting the system variable $Axisorder[4] to 0.That takes care of it in the R-H controller. When I disconnect the 6th axis motor on the R-J system of course I get a pulse coder detection error. Setting the system variable $Axisorder[6] to 0 remedies the pulse coder alarm but then the servo amp for the 6th axis (shared with the 3rd axis--2 axis amplifier) will not ready, giving me a SRVO 21-SRDY OFF alarm. Is there other system variables that I need to set? Or possibly a jumper on a card somewhere? Has anyone done this before? Thanks in advance.
