Hi. I need to make an id stamp with a part number. The customer wants it to be sharp on the stamping end and tapered for strength.

I cant seem to figure out how to do this. I am trying different types of text and then extruding with draft, but so far have not found anything that works all that well.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Create the Text using Insert > Curve > Text
Extrude hte Text without any draft
Then apply the draft after using Draft from edges.
You may need to play around with the draft settings between True Draft and Isocline Draft.
Also, you may need to apply draft independently as sometimes certain text geometry can be tricky.
If the all or nothing approach doesn't work, move down to drafting individual letters/numbers second, then if that doesn't work on certain text, then try drafting individual problem faces.
