Is there a calculation or some type of guidance to determine acceptable flange hub remaining thickness after corrosion has occurred? I am experiencing crevice corrosion between mating flanges on the hubs of the flanges. Visually I am able to get approximate wall loss measurement but I cannot seem to find guidance on how to figure out how much loss to the hub thickness is acceptable. I know that there are a lot of factors that come into play in determining this, but if there is a formula, I would love to have it. Thanks

Even if there is a limit, remember that crevice corrosion is an accelerated form of attack. Damage may reach a critical value much sooner than you think, resulting in subsequent fracture.
