Is there anyone who knows of a paper or code that covers the external design of reinforced rectangular pressure vessels. ASME VII Appendix 13 only covers for unreinforced vessels

I am not sure what you mean by 'not reinforced' in Appendix 13 of ASME VIII Division 1. It is possible to design rectangular vessels with internal and external reinforcement. Severaly worked examples are given in Appendix 13.
