Expression Filters 4

Using "Filter By Name" (as an example), is it possible to filter for multiple names ?

For example, I want to include in the filter all of my named expressions including the string DIA or LENGTH.

NX 9.0.3.4
NX 10 (Testing)
Windows 7 64 (Windows 8.1 Tablet)

Good news, this is possible. In the customer defaults, use the option: Gateway -> general -> miscellaneous -> text filter -> regular expressions. Ok the dialog and restart NX for the change to take effect.

Now in the "filter by name" entry, you can enter .*DIA.*|.*LENGTH.* to find all the expressions that contain "DIA" or "LENGTH" in the name.

Neither have I and I've been using UG/NX for a lot long than Taylor has (38 years this coming August). Of course, we've only had expressions since UG V8.0, but that's still 24 years this month.
