Hey Everyone,

Is there a way to export out a CATDrawing that has a scale of say 1:5 and make sure that the DXF has a scale of 1:1?

Thanks,

Ryengnut

Put something of a known dimension in there like a 10" line.

Regards,
Derek

Hey Derek,

I'm not sure what you mean? I already have dimensions in the drawing.

If you scale a drawing - output to dxf - the sizes of the lines are scaled down by the scale factor. The dimensions in catia would hold true to the 1:1 size.

Hey Derek,

yes the dimensions do hold their true value, but I was hopeing for the DXF not to have the scale value taken into account when creating geometry in the drawing.
I'll just have to change the scale in the CATDrawing to 1:1 then save to DXF and then bring the scale back to what it was.
