Hello,

I want to deliver assly to customer and customer need dumb file i.e components without features. Is it possbile to take assly outside the teamcenter and automatically the child parts features can get removed and part should have only Dumb bodies. but the assly should remain same.

hi

I will suggest to export the entire assembly outside teamcenter ,to the native environment.
Afterwards open assembly im NX native ,and remove all parameters from each component...
It can easyli be done....

( Think about - if you try to remove parameters on the fly in the TC environment, all parts needed to be saved, before export,
because "export outside teamcenter" extract data from disk (database) and not what is in current RAM.)

I have 75 components and each removing paramaters would take lot of time.

Export the assembly to a .STP file; use the "entire part" option, this will export each component to an individual file. Open the step file after export and do a "save all" to save the assembly and component part files as .prt files.

Parasolid may not maintain the assembly structure if your assembly runs more than one level deep.
