Dear all,
Three options are available when export floor from Etabs-2013 to safe-v14
EXPORT FLOOR LOADS ONLY
EXPORT FLOOR LOADS AND LOADS FROM ABOVE
EXPORT FLOOR LOADS PLUS COLUMN AND WALL DISTORTION
CSI recommends option number 3 when solving under lateral load, please refer to the following link:
my questions
1-If i follow option 2 is it wrong?
2-Why option number 3 doesn't have stiff area over column locations? and if i put stiff area is it o.k?
3-An expert engineer has the following opinion on option number three in an older version, please refer to the following link:
does the new version solve that issue regarding the previous link
