Hello,

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to have an exploded view in a reference set. I have an assembly in which multiple parts are switched out or are in different locations depending on the machine they are on.

I'd like to be able to have these different set-ups in different explosions, which would then be in different reference sets for the higher assembly.

Doesn't work right now, just wondering if it is possible.

Not possible. The exploded assembly is a view-only representation in the file. That is why it has a special view name and can be turned on and off.

Hi Steve,

In NX+, try Variable Component Positioning. By overriding component positions in higher assemblies, you might be able to accomplish what you are after.
